What Makes Restylane Lyft Different from Perlane?

What Makes Restylane Lyft Different from Perlane?Cheeks and mid-face area are a vital part of the face, and provide a fuller, rounder facial look. However, due to aging, heredity or other factors, loss of volume can occur in these areas. This can create an uneven, sunken look of the face. Restylane Lyft is an FDA approved medspa dermal filler treatment to restore cheek volume without surgery.
Dr. Gary Motykie is a leading board certified plastic surgeon providing cutting edge surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. Motykie medical spa offers Restylane Lyft and various other minimally invasive cosmetic treatments to patients in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and surrounding locations.

Restylane Lyft and Perlane Difference

Restylane Lyft is the new name for Perlane dermal filler, which has been one of the oldest and most reliable injectable fillers for facial anti-aging. Perlane had been successfully used for many years as an off-label treatment to volumize cheeks. However, recently, the manufacturer renamed it as Restylane Lyft as it won the FDA’s approval for cheek augmentation and correction of age related mid-face contour imperfections in people above the age of 21.
Restylane Lyft is additionally used for treating moderate to severe folds and wrinkles on the face, including smile lines or nasolabial folds. People wanting to reduce the conspicuous facial signs of aging or seeking to regain greater cheek definition without surgery can choose this advanced injectable medspa treatment.

Same Composition

Formerly known as Perlane, Restylane Lyft offers the same composition and same ingredients to correct volume loss and reduce wrinkles and fine lines in the face. The primary ingredient in Restylane Lyft is hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. This ingredient holds the skin together and provides a firm look to the skin.
However, due to aging, sun exposure, genetics, disease and other factors, body’s natural hyaluronic acid tends to get depleted. Restylane Lyft injections can replenish it, and cause near-instant enhancement of skin volume. The ingredient also triggers the production of new collagen in the body. This creates more sustainable and natural looking face volumizing results.
Just like the previously named Perlane-L, Restylane Lyft with Lidocaine does not require separate application of a local anesthetic. The patient will stay comfortable throughout the injection process. Restylane Lyft is indicated for implantation into the deep dermis to superficial subcutis with a goal to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and facial folds.
It is also designed for subcutaneous implantation for cheek augmentation and reversal of age related mid-face contour deficiencies. Restylane Lyft and the previously named Perlane are both brands owned by Galderma Laboratories. Therefore, it is an identical product, which is simply now re-branded as Restylane Lyft.

Results

Results with Restylane Lyft can last for anywhere from six to 12 months on average. Repeat treatments may help to extend the benefits cumulatively. Most patients would require two injections of this dermal filler to achieve optimal outcomes.
The treatment is FDA approved for both volumizing of cheeks and adding volume for the correction of nasolabial folds. Motykie medical spa receives patients from Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and nearby areas for Restylane Lyft.
