    Rare Side Effect

     

    CoolSculpting may lead to some mild and short-term side effects. Certain patients experience mild pain, redness, inflammation or bruising after their CoolSculpting treatment. However, these side-effects usually resolve in a few days.

     

    Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia is a highly rare and delayed side-effect of CoolSculpting that occurs in 1 out of every 20,000 patients resulting in the development of adipose tissue in the treated site two to five months post-treatment.
